Commercial Cleaning

Commercial cleaning refers to cleaning services offered to businesses and organizations with the goal of keeping a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This service usually involves routine tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, garbage collection, and restroom sanitation. In addition to routine cleaning, additional services may include floor care, carpet cleaning, window washing, and thorough cleaning of specific areas. Routine cleaning is necessary to improve workplace aesthetics, increase staff productivity, and ensure compliance with health and safety laws.

Daily Scope of Work:

Entrance and Main Lobby/Office areas:

-Wipe down front entrance glass doors, partition glass or mirrors to remove smudges and fingerprints

-Disinfect high touch points such as light switches and doorknobs

-Disinfect counters and sinks in areas other than restrooms or kitchens

-Move all chairs or equipment ahead (if possible), sweep behind them, and return to their original location

-Dust and clean accessible fixtures and office furniture (file cabinets, desks, display units, disinfect desktop telephones)

-Disinfect exterior of drinking fountains (if any)

-Vacuum carpeted areas

-Dry/Mop hard surface floor

Kitchen/Break-room Area:

-Disinfect counters, tables, and sinks

-Disinfect the interior and exterior of the microwave

-Spot clean the exterior of the refrigerator, removing smudges and fingerprints

-Sweep hard surface floor

-Dry/Mop hard surface floor

-Empty trash cans and replace liners

Restrooms:

-Disinfect the dispensers and fixtures

-Disinfect wash basins, toilet bowls, urinals, and countertops

-Wipe down mirrors

-Mop hard surface floor

-Restock client inventories with disposable items including paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, liners, and deodorants (supplied by client)

-Dry/Mop hard surface floor

-Empty trash cans and replace liners

Daily Scope of Work (1 time per month):

-Dust items up to 12 feet above the floor (high dusting), including ceiling vents, light fixtures, high window sills, pictures, and corners that were not cleaned during usual wiping
